Poker at The Colony Club Mayfair
The Colony Club sits quietly at 24 Hertford Street in Mayfair, London. If you have ever walked past without realising it was a casino, that is more or less intentional. We do not promote ourselves with big signs or loud offers on the street. Inside, our poker provision is focused on Three Card Poker. It runs alongside Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat, with roughly 20 live table positions on the main floor.
Around those tables, we have electronic gaming positions and slot machines completing the floor. Some of those machines are reported to carry jackpots in the region of £20,000. That figure is not a promise though, and we always suggest checking the current jackpot values in person before planning a session around them.
We open every day from 1:00 PM and stay open until 6:00 AM. It is a long operating window, and it makes The Colony Club a practical choice if you prefer late sessions in central London. You can start a game around dinner and carry on well past midnight without rushing, especially once our bar and restaurant open from 7:00 PM.
Our interior design was created by Dakota House of Design. The brief was simple: deliver “the very latest luxury gaming club in the heart of London.” You can feel that intention on the floor. Bespoke furniture, comfortable seating at every table, and a layout that clearly separates gaming from dining and drinks. The space is structured and quite controlled, more so than a typical high-street casino. If you expect to just wander in casually with no checks at all, it is better to know in advance that we do work differently.
Getting to the Tables
You need to be a member to play. That is the main point. The Colony Club operates as a members casino, and the process usually starts before you walk up to reception.
A typical sequence looks roughly like this:
- Contact our team on [email protected] or call +44 20 7495 5000. Doing this at least a day before you want to visit gives time to confirm what membership involves and whether you should bring specific documents.
- Check your current membership status with us, or ask about any arrangements for a qualifying visit if you are not a member yet.
- Make your way to 24 Hertford Street. From Hyde Park Corner underground station, it is around a 4 minute walk. From Green Park, it is nearer 7 minutes.
- Present your ID and any requested documents at reception. We apply KYC checks in line with UK regulatory standards, so we do not skip this part.
- Pick up any promotional materials at entry if they apply to you. Genting’s venue information mentions a prize wheel at reception; whether that extends to The Colony Club poker area at a given time needs to be confirmed with our team directly.
- Move through to the live gaming section and speak with the dealer before you sit in, just to confirm the current minimum stakes for Three Card Poker or any other table game you want to play.
Our floor staff are available across the entire operating period, from early afternoon to early morning. If any part of the process feels unclear at any time, you can simply ask them. That is what they are there for, and they are used to helping both new and regular players.
One general point that applies to any members casino in the UK, including ours: it is always safer to call or email before turning up for the first time. Documentation requirements can change or differ from what you expect, and a quick check can easily prevent an unnecessary journey.

Electronic tables run next to the live positions. Some players like them for a quicker style of play or when they prefer to minimise direct interaction at the table. The mix of live and electronic gaming reflects how Genting positions The Colony Club: this is part of a flagship London set of venues rather than a high-volume walk-in property. That difference shapes how the room feels once you are seated.
